We read the Jedi Prince series when we were kids and I guess we just never quite fully recovered.
You're saying Jedi Prince made you daffy and unable to judge correctly?
You know, I don't take issue with skyjedi or Puggo coming over here and sharing their distaste for the prequels because all they are doing is sharing their opinions of the movies. I don't hear either of them calling our opinions wrong though.
Sorry, I thought I was riffing off of your comment about the Jedi Prince series. Perhaps I mistook your meaning. What did you mean by bringing up Jedi Prince?

I think you're just bitter because we are able to enjoy them and therefore have 6 movies to watch instead of only 3.
I don't think so. If I'm "bitter" (though that's not quite the word for it) it's that I don't want the PT in my OT, and as has been put better recently by some others here, that's getting increasingly hard. I didn't come to OT.com because it was a "bashers" sanctuary so much as it was an "ignorers" sanctuary. Yet, as time goes on, anything Star Wars is increasingly becoming saga focused (with a heavy PT/TCW bias) and likewise OT.com (the membership, anyhow) is progressively becoming "saga" minded. That is to say, that the members here are less "ignory" than it used to be and I find that I don't enjoy coming here as much as I did 5 years ago. Even this sanctuary moon site has fallen to the PT machine.
And I find that very sad and frustrating.
Also- RE: the 3 vs 6 deal. I guess maybe you're right. I really wanted to like the PT and assumed I would... Right up until the fall of 1998 when the flags started to go up. But a couple years back, I basically liked 0 SW movies. The PT had tainted so much of my once and former passion for SW... I had to take a hardline "ignore" stance just to get back to liking the 3 of them again. I'm somewhat envious of anyone who like's all 6... but I also think there's something wrong with you.
