Oh man, I was between jobs when DX1 GotY came out. I actually had a job, but I didn't start it for 3 months. I played DX1 like it was my job. I probably even put in overtime. I don't know how many hours... but maybe 2 weeks of 8-10 days. Those were the days...

I did that once with the Sega Genesis Phantasy Star games. Although in my case I had decided to wait two months before looking for a job.

For this lazy guy, it was the best two months ever.

I guess it's a huge waste of time... but it does seem to stick in the memory.

Like my (hopefully) annual all nighter weekend... I'd be in real trouble if that was my constant behaviour... but I think I can get away with it once a year.
