Perhaps I'm confused (not by your math). You're mad that most music is part of a genre?
Except for a few songs from the Spice Girls I never listened to any of those bands, so I can't say how bad/good they really were (I didn't like the Spice Girls, though). As for music belonging to genres, no I don't hate that. I hate that most of the music being made in those genres today really suck.
