Ok gang, I need your help.

I want to pull from The Simpsons the bird (crow?) noise (heard when an exterior shot of the power plant is shown) to use in a shot.  I figured this would be really easy to find, and I've got the first nine seasons on DVD so no problem.

For some reason I'm having a terrible time getting Google to tell me one episode where I can get the sound.  I even tried ripping a couple of Season 3 episodes that involved the power plant and no dice.

Any episode suggestions?  First successful poster gets in the credits (if not already there).

I did try snpp.com, but not through Google.  It appears that Homer the Clown 2F12 will do the trick.

Aww... you found it already. Is there anything I can do to get into the credits?

EDIT: If you haven't ripped the DVD yet, you can find the sound here from the episode "Milhouse doesn't live here anymore" in Season 15.

Honestly the easiest way was to contribute an idea that I used, but the edit is pretty much done.

If you are good with either audio (5.1 creation) or video (FX), and can help with a few of the final sequences I need help on, drop me a PM.

Hmm... any sequences you haven't refined yet or is it too late?

It's not too late - if you can think of something new I really like (like the Panaka ringtones, for instance), I'd probably still add it.  But I'm not actively looking for ideas any more.

Hmmm... have you thought of adding a GPS voice to Anakin's Starfighter that stops when he says to turn off the autopilot? You could use Yoda, Kim Cattrall (if you want a female voice), Homer, or even Darth Vader.

Here's another way to get into the credits:

I've got someone on FE.org doing CC for me but he's working with Mac and I'm PC.  He can't work with Lagarith avi.  We tried DV avi once and that worked, but now for some reason Vegas won't let me output as DVD avi.

I think the problem is my project settings are at 29.97 for some reason, even though all the clips I'm working with are 23.976.  And I'm trying to render out at 23.976.  Vegas (note this is not Pro, this is Studio) will not let me change the project settings to 23.976.

I don't know why it worked before and not now...the error is "The custom template you selected is not valid with the current project settings."

Help with either fixing the Vegas problem or an alternate to Lagarith that Mac can work with would be greatly appreciated and worth a tech credit.

I already used a GPS voice.

Also, almost the entire movie can be assembled thru watching the youtube clips in the thread, if you want to see if something has already been done.  I do recommend going newest to oldest, however, since some of the older clips are outdated.

Two clips only.

The main one is the stuff where Anakin is podracing on his own, it would be a correction from day to night.

The other one is during the final discussion about Anakin in the Jedi Council, it's a night scene but I have two reaction shots of Mace and Yoda that I had to pull from earlier when it's daytime.

Not sure if this was worth the effort, but at any rate...
