I'm sorry but for some reason, Ewan McGregor's delivery of this just seemed flat out awful to me, which is surprising since he's a good actor. He seems to put his hand on his mouth to smother a laugh, like he's thinking "Why am I saying this?" Natalie Portman's reaction is a bit much as well. It seems like something out of a sitcom where you're supposed to laugh since the character's flat out lying.
The prequels in general are an extreme acting challenge. I mean you have an actor pretending to be the "victim" while shouting "you will die!" "Power, unlimited Power!" while attacking the guy he's trying to peg as bad.
The other actor in the same scene. He has to act like it's not completely obvious that the guy shooting lightning at him is the bad guy. He also has to act like he has to convice Anakin that yeah me, the guy getting shot at I'm not bad it's this guy. When it's obvious to anyone with eyes and, ears that Palpatine's a bad guy.
Meanwhile, in the same scene the other actor has to act like it's such a hard choice to choose who's evil or, not in that scene.

A hologram security footage could be very useful in casinos. Getting a close up view of the players hands with full visual control. Though in context of the movie it still makes no sense... Yeah you got a holo-cam in a hallway instead of 2D... Real useful there.***Sarcasm***
