The OP lives on his own planet, I don't think you can extrapolate his behavior to anything else here.

Not sure how long you have posted at TFN, but they pretty much ran every OOT fan off the site after Episode III. They had a whole forum called 'The Bashers Sanctuary' where fans could talk about their problems with the PT and that way we would stay out of the PT threads so it wouldn't get too heated. They closed that in 2006 during the release of the OOT DVD's, and thats when all hell broke loose.
I am one of them as I got permabanned there for arguing with many PT fans during the 06 OOT Non-Anamorphic Release.
What pissed me off is many them were laughing that Lucas was putting out a shitty release of the OOT after it was announced that wasn't restored, and they would say to me, "You are getting what you deserve!" The mods would do nothing as the main rule at TFN is no baiting or no talk about fans or fanbases (meaning generalizing).
So I went back at them, and it got heated, and I was permabanned there, yet the PT fans who argued with me were still posting. After that there was a huge effort to rid of any OOT fan, as most of us left there for OT.com or Outerrimsieges.com.
The sad thing is at one time it was a pretty good site as it had a good combo of PT fans and OOT fans, and there was alot of good threads. Then they tilted to the PT fans and ran all the OOT fans off, and the site is an utter joke these days.
Maybe I'm being misunderstood here, but I'm not defending TF.N.

So... there you have it.
No, I'm not Darth Bizarro. I don't recall replying to a comment not directed to me. Which one was it?

Unfortunately, some members can't help it, and the first page of this sub-forum is an example of that.
Since you asked.
I had made the mistake of connecting the 'you' referred to by twooffour to 'you' the Alexrd who took up the opposing end of the discussion at that point. So while you did not say that most people here were bashers... you were providing counterpoint to someone who said they weren't.
Though, after having quoted this same passage of yours several times now... Some members can't help it? I can only imagine I'm one of these members... but I'm not sure what it is I can't help... ??? Is the idea that I'm trying not to dislike the prequels, or, at least, trying to not post about it, but that every so often (or very often, perhaps) it comes bursting from me like some kind of uncontrollable PT hating form of tourette's?

I see now. Had forgotten it was directed to Darth Bizarro.

Can't help but to talk search and delve into something they claim to hate (it just seems counterproductive, to me). I wouldn't say you specifically, but if I had to say any names, the OP would be one of them.

Hey, don't mock it! That's the planet I plan on living on when I die!
When I die and they lay me to rest- I'm gonna go to the place that's the best!
Going up to that jedi in the sky (jedi in the sky!)
That's where I'm gonna go when I die (when I die!)
When I die... by someone... named... Janet
Going up to skyjedi2005's... planet.

You want to be angry and bitter at everything when you die? That's what old age is for!

Wait, I'm confused. What happened? Did I meta morph without realizing it?
I should also clarify that when I say fail, I refer to movies that fail completely. I may not like Justin Beiber but he has millions of dollars and legions of fans lining up to suck him off. Transformers also has a pretty large legion of fans so I don't think they necessarily qualify.
Now if one where to refer to something as fail in the Twilight sense of the word, then yes, I can see how some might see the prequels as fail.

I still don't see where the problem lies.
Why people who hate the PT go to TFN to read the comments in support of it? Even though they find the comments stupid and annoying? And possibly start arguing with them? Because it's fun, to them.
Seems pretty basic and simple to me.
That's pretty much what I thought.

Well I realize that there are many movies where it doesn't matter if you already know what happens, but I just think (in my opinion) that if the prequels were made first, more people would have like them.
But the main issue of the prequels is the directing. George shouldn't have directed the prequels, if someone else would have directed them, they would have turned out better IMO.
In every episode of Columbo, you already knew who the murderer was, and you knew that Columbo was going to catch him. But they were great shows because of the characters.

Or... maybe less people, considering how TPM was one of the most wildly anticipated movies ever... because the OT were such classics ;)

At the risk of being shot dead, there are a lot of PT-era books when, taken in context with the films, really go a long way towards explaining a lot of the things that were poorly handled in the PT.
I didn't read those books, but it's the same with "The Clone Wars". "The Clone Wars" is what the Prequels should have been.
So true. I am totally looking forward to Season IV. Holycrapdeathwatch.
