The colors could be perfect, and I still wouldn't care or buy this (granted, I'm color blind, so make of that what you will) since that still doesn't change the fact that it's the SE.

Strange Hoth seems a lot less blue altogether, much like Adywan's color-corrected AVCHD, but I thought it was established that Hoth wasn't white and there was in fact a dark blue (not cyan) tint...
On the other hand, ROTJ seems to have lost a blue tint but acquired a pink one!
Just think, a whole new world of color correction awaits!
And even more work for 005... prequels, even!
Hope they make the OT better for the 3d.But the bul-rays look good in color,but not the Lightsabers. So for the 3d hope they will fix the color even more and the lightsabers.

I have also downloaded the HD version of the trailer and it does indeed look bad for the older docs as the reported problem does seem to exist in the two shots shown, while the rest of the trailer doesn't suffer with these problems. Well all apart from the shot of R2 and the wampa that definitely has some field problems

The german 2004 DVDs feature the same subtitle style as the NTSC 2004 DVDs.
Releasing all 6 exclusive previews in german audio only seems like a publish accident to me.
Good to see Hoth without the blue, although Dack when he releases the cable looked VERY blue, much like the 2004 transfer. It looks like parts have been improved and others haven't. (quote and photo c/o Merlinpants from the forum of blu-ray.com)

How much did the Magenta tweak change everything? Have you applied it to other media? If so, I'm a bit happy...as my Aquos has color and image setting options 10,000 miles long. I could easily make a custom setting for the Blu-rays that mirrors that result.
Not saying this makes me happy buying this altered version, but it does give me hope that I may have control over at LEAST one thing. :-/

The thing is, in this case I'd actually be more inclined to believe that this isn't the footage from the actual Blu-Rays, as they're snippets from documentaries, so they would probably use the 2004 HD master just as it was, just like Empire of Dreams uses a lot of 97SE footage.

The blue tint on the empire strikes back blu ray previews in the snow walker battle is even more pronounced, wonderful, great going LFL.
