"Hate" is kind of strong, but I don't think they're "okay" either. I think they're badly made films, and I don't see myself voluntarily watching them ever again.
I can ignore the prequels and pretend they don't exist quite nicely, except that Lucas had "prequelized" the OT which is what really pisses me off.
