Bottle Shock- We've had this on our Netflix instant queue for years. Since we're going to go on Neflix holiday soon, I wanted to knock out the titles on our queue that we really wanted to see, and this made the cut.
1. It didn't ressemble System Shock or BioShock at all.
0/5 balls
2. Aside from that, it was actually quite enjoyable. It seems like it could use some better editing... the movie doesn't seem to have much focus and major characters disappear for what seems like too long. But it was still fun and I consider this to be the true oigin of Capt. James T. Kirk and how he met... erm... a Hispanic Checkov.
3/5 brown chardonnays
Chaos Theory- I'm not sure how this ended up on our queue. But my wife wanted to watch something sweet, and I thought this was a "romantic comedy" so I turned it on. In the first 10 minutes, the men are all asked to reveal their pet names for their penises and we knew that we were in slightly different territory than had been charted. We skipped to the end of that scene and then quite enjoyed the rest of the movie- though none of it was very "sweet". Really an impressive performance from Ryan Reynolds. You would never know that he was this capable based on the rest of his filmography. It's a Reynolds I could believe as Hal Jordan... but I think the other Ryan Reynolds is more on display in that. But I haven't seen it yet, so I could be wrong.
