Great or Good

  1. Batman
  2. Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
  3. Batman Returns

 

Okay

  1. Batman Begins
  2. The Dark Knight

 

Poor to Terrible

  1. Batman Forever
  2. Batman and Robin

 

The Nolan films are well crafted, but are far too uncomfortable with having a comic book as their source material. They are trying so very, very hard to be "serious film". Also, Nolan's version of Gotham sucks. Bale is only good when he goes into Patrick Bateman mode as Bruce Wayne (like in the scene in BB where he kicks everyone out of the party). Bale's Batman voice is just terrible.
