huh?  he didn't have that many action scenes.    I hardly think you can say that the part of Gordan in the Nolan films, is that of an action star. 

Who is Gordan?  Is he a Marvel figure? ;-)

The comic books would be a better frame of reference for you to use.   I am sure Nolan did not base his movies on the '60s tv series and movie, or the Burton Batman movies.
