Hi Everyone,

I am excited to announce that I am working on a new project to restore a 35 mm film trailer for the 1997 Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition. I am just at the beginning stages of the project, but I already have made some great progress.

I own a 30" monitor with a higher than HD resolution of 2560x1600 (WQHD) and my plan is to create a version of this trailer that uses as much of that resolution as possible while maintaining the film’s 2.35:1 aspect ratio. I will also create a standard HD version of 1920x1080p.

The trailer was brand new and unopened when I started with it, so it is in excellent condition.
