There was a time when every off-topic thread was in some way about Bond.

It sucked then, and it sucks now.

Indeed.

Mix up move quotes or GTFO Bond-talkers :p

I fully endorse this quote, along with the use of a Tenacious D pic.

*pop, click*

Panic on the streets of London
Panic on the streets of Birmingham
I wonder to myself
Could life ever be sane again ?
The Leeds side-streets that you slip down
I wonder to myself
Hopes may rise on the Grasmere
But Honey Pie, you're not safe here
So you run down
To the safety of the town
But there's Panic on the streets of Carlisle
Dublin, Dundee, Humberside
I wonder to myself

Burn down the disco
Hang the blessed DJ
Because the music that they constantly play
IT SAYS NOTHING TO ME ABOUT MY LIFE
Hang the blessed DJ
Because the music they constantly play...

*Pvvvvvvurp!*

Those are still song lyrics, no one says them in the movie.

It's played didactically, like Bela Lugosi's Dead in The Hunger, therefore it is quotable.

It is played inside the fictional universe and reflects the scene inside the film at the same time.

Crazy For You is not played didactically in Vision Quest, Danger Zone is not played didactically in Top Gun therefore are only songs featured on the soundtrack and not in the narrative.

Songs in musicals are almost always didactic.

White on white translucent black capes

Back on the rack

Bela Lugosi's dead

The bats have left the bell tower

The victims have been bled

Red velvet lines the black box

Bela Lugosi's dead

Undead undead undead

The virginal brides file past his tomb

Strewn with time's dead flowers

Bereft in deathly bloom

Alone in a darkened room

The Count

Bela Lugosi's dead

Undead undead undead

And Bingo said, "Let there be Bauhaus." And there was Bauhaus. And Bingo saw the Bauhaus, and it was good. And Frink separated the Bauhaus from the thread's original purpose.
