This site is calling for the original versions of the films to be restored, preserved and made available to purchase and see in a theatre.

Some people here can't stand the official SEs, some people love them, some people appreciate them for what they should be, alternate versions, not the default versions, not the only versions available, not the only versions maintained.

As we have seen since 2004, even people who really love the SEs are being sold lemons over and over and over again.

Making unofficial SEs and extended cuts doesn't get in the way of calling for the original versions to be preserved as cultural artifacts.

If anything alternate SEs undermine the official position that the official SEs are the only versions of these films we are allowed to see.
