I don't know how many members and signatories to the site petition are UK residents or have friends and/or relatives who are but the UK Government have their own E-Petition mechanism which has recently been making waves and may prompt a Parliamentary debate.

I have to declare an interest here because I personally feel this is no way to run a Government.

However a well worded and well supported petition on that site may serve our cause.

Points of focus could be the preservation of cultural artifacts, the reach and limitations of copyright law in regards to cinematic heritage, consumer choice and inaccurate advertising.

Any thoughts?
