New Star Wars Miniature Game - Why Can't Lucas Arts Do This?

LOL - yeah - there is definitely a fascination with motion controlled stuff trying to do lightsaber action.

Lucasarts isn't making this because the Fantasy Flight X-Wing game isn't a video game, it's actual physical miniatures (like Micro Machine-size, I'm presuming).  It's more closely tied to tabletop roleplaying than anything else (FFG also recently acquired the SW RPG rights).

Thanks - I tweaked the original post to correct it.  Still no excuse for LucasArts not to give us a good Tie Fighter video game.
