As you may know Universal put out a Collection of all of their Dracula, Frankenstein , and Wolfman Movies. I was considering buying the Set. However I read some of the reviews. There seem to be a problem with the Dracula DVD. It seems that the audio is not the restored audio that was on the first DVD release of this movie. Just after Dracula is stabed with the stake he lets out chilling groan. It is my understanding that this groan was taken out by censors years ago and was restored in the first DVD release. However from what I read it is not in the new DVD. Why would Universal not use the restored audio? Does anyone have an explanation? What logical reason could they have? I just don't get it. Do any of you have any ideas?
