Wookie Groomer's 1080p Star Wars Saga project (Released) — Page 30

Sorry for being late to the game, but I was able to download and sucessfully repair Eps 1,2,3,4,5 as BD50 this week - just to find out that the PS3 won't play BD-Rs. :O

However, the "proper reissue" of Ep6 is too corrupted, but I was able to download the "older" release as well as the audio fix. So, about the audio fix - is v4 the latest of them? Is it "correct"? Which application could or should I use to mux it into the m2ts of the "old" bluray?

Can't wait for the official BluRays to come out...

Wait. What? Mine does. It plays them fine.

Mine won't. Is pretty new though (bought around Christmas), maybe they changed the drives or something. I even extracted the files of the ISO and re-built them with IMGBurn... nada. Won't buy another bunch of BDR50ties though, 12 Euros !

I don't mind playing them via my HTPC, so...

I, too, am late to the game. I've had the compressed 1080p rips for a while now, but not the Blu-rays. I signed up for a Usenetserver account and tried to get the "Proper.Reissues" of Ep. IV-VI. Grabit yielded too many corruptions on all 3, and Alt.Binz allowed me to only get Ep. IV, the "Sorry..." version. Could someone either re-up Ep. V and VI to a.b.starwars, or do a B+P where i'll send BD-Rs and postage? Thanks.

Why not wait for the official retail release this September, WG's versions are nice, but these I am SURE will be way better and worth the wait.

That's a long way off. ;)

Nice work on the GOUT Custom discs, btw. Just watched Empire yesterday. Well done, indeed. No need for my various Laserdisc-based versions anymore.

If anyone would could re-up Wookiegroomers Split Screen Versions as well, that would be much appreciated.

Your brain just makes s**t up!

Probably. But I'd take a lightly colour corrected version in the interim.

I'm trying to hunt down WookieGroomer's RotJ, as aDVD9 release. I found the EwokGroomer version and I read that it had audio sync issues. Now I found some "proper" release by someone named "DON".

Does anyone have this who could save me some bandwidth? Does it also suffer from audio issues?

I have the DON release (Star.Wars.Episode.VI.Return.of.the.Jedi.1983.720p.HDTV.x264-DON.mkv) from tehparadox but it is not colour corrected. Or is this some other version?

No, that would be the one. I thought it was colour corrected because it's supposed to be sourced from the WookieGroomer release.

Thanks.

I think the only one he color corrected was ESB, I have all his releases but have not watched them all, at the time these were coming out I had made my own.

I don't think all WookieGroomer releases were colour corrected.

Oh, okay. I misunderstood.

In that case, might as well wait for the official Blu-ray

Are you sure, i'm watching it now and wish I hadn't bothered frankly.

It's nice to have a Hi Def "hardcopy" but it's basically SE v2.

I'm going back to the Wookiegroomer BD50's, Laserics and waving goodbye to Geroge Lucas for ever with two fingers.

GL really is a tw@7.

Where can I get these?  All the links on Tehparadox are down now and this dr pepper guy proved to be a total flake.

I’m pretty sure they are. Check NZBClub and NZBKing. There are torrents of them on Rutracker also.
