He's flat out cocky... It's no worse than him being on the Death Star II when that was supposed to be the target, something only one edit has fixed...
Coruscant's also nice since it gives us something exotic. It's spectacle for 1983 people... like Hoth, CLoud City the original Death Star, and Tatooine was. ROTJ wasn't good partially because it wasn't grand. It "lacked vision."
