Okay, I think that does it. I had to play "cut the rope" on my phone just to feel like I wasn't completely wasting my time.
Ninja Ropes is the only acceptable rope game to play.

"Superman Returns"
This was a mixed bag for me. I like the Donner connection, but did not like the look of The Daily Planet. Brandon Routh was not bad, and I think Spacey was good too. The rest of the cast was forgettable. I disliked the casting of Lois most of all. Sure, It was a better film then Superman 3 & 4, but still missed the mark in my opinion. It did not have the charm, rhythm or comic timing of Donner's Superman work. Also, I think cutting the return to Krypton scene was a huge mistake.
If seeing it at Grauman's Chinese Theater can't make it good-nothing can.

I always like what Malick tries to do, but his films always leave me cold.
Did you see Days of Heaven?
A long time ago. I need to revisit it on Criterion's new edition.

I'd say it's his best.
"Captain America: The First Avenger"
Not as good as I had hoped. The first 3rd of the film was the best part.
I did like the actor who played Rogers a lot more in this then I had in Fantastic Four. Tommy Lee Jones was well cast as well. The music was forgettable. The CGI was very not to good ether.

"Superman: The Movie" (Original Theatrical Cut)
10 out of 10 balls!
Can't wait for the restored extended version being done by some fans!

I think film composers are getting too lazy. Focusing more on emulation than originality. Though John Williams emulated a lot of great composers, he did it with his own touch.
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Downfall
10/10
Harry Potter 7 Part 2
The best installment to a the franchise and quite possibly the most satisfying ending to a film series I have ever seen.
9/10
And it still falls one ball short?
Well, I took a ball off because I had to sit through the boring disaster that was Part 1 in order to know what was happening in this one.
HP 7 pt. 2:
Why was I watching this? I don't know. The people chatting away behind me about a charlie horse was more entertaining.
2.5 balls out of 4 charlie horses.
Thunderball 1989 LD with alternate British mono track.
Brilliant to see the old Technicolor look back again. Extra balls for the different dialogue. 5 Connery balls.
Well...what else was I going to call them? 5 bad makeup jobs on Bond's arm to cover Sean's tattoo? 5 continuity error balls? Scope balls?

Have you seen all the other movies? That might explain why you didn't really care for it.
EDIT: Speaking of Harry Potter, this what I think some of you guys acted like when Return of the Jedi came out. ;-)
I did see the others. I enjoyed the books for the most part, but I've never liked the films. They have always seemed a bit dull and lifeless IMO.

How old are you?
Got back from Deathly Hallows, and my experience was the complete opposite of most. I absolutely hated part 1, and loved part 2.
I'd like to take a stab at combining part 1 and 2 into a well rounded movie, though Part 2 ended up being good in my eyes, so there isn't too much I'd cut out, there is a chunk I'd take out of Part 1 though.

I recently enjoyed NightStalkerPoet's extended version of Part One.
While it suffered from the same darkness issues that my DVD did I preferred it with the added scenes and the titles beating out the passage of time.
So horses for courses.
I still haven't seen Part Two so I have no opinion to offer on that experience.
Raising Arizona.
Before that, Mommy Dearest.
NO WIRE HANGERS!!!!
KEEP YOUR GODDAMN HANDS OFF MY WIFE!
WHY DID YOU ADOPT ME?
Captain AMEHrica: The First Avenger
It's not that it was bad, it just wasn't very good.
5.5/10 cheesy lines.
Still very excited about The Avengers in May, however..

Absolute ridiculous classic. Roald Dahl's idea of a Bond film. 5 Connery balls to the Japanese paper wall.
