It's certainly ridculous! I couldn't really tell the difference between the two videos until I watched them a couple times, but the no music one seems slightly more clear.

So I finally came back to Ani on the race course, trying to change up the cuts to match the music a little better. This was really tough because I'm trying not to mess too much with the geography (which is already kind of screwy because I had to cut out all other racers), and also I didn't want to reuse too many shots. So the cuts aren't perfectly timed, but hopefully it's a little better.

I haven't tipped my hand yet on DVD extras, but I'm considering a text commentary to explain the various memes, sources of material, and so on.
