Yes these glitches are imperfections of the mediums in which work was done, but I think the complaint is about everyone thinking the blu-ray would be from a new transfer, which would eliminate this 2004 digital glitch. Both sides agreed that a new transfer would be a good idea, but many round here said, that's not in the Lucasfilm methodology, the other side saying let's wait and see. Now that official stuff is coming out, we see the humdinger error and that shows that the blu-ray is a rehash of the 2004. The debate is not about what to fix it's about which version is being used for the new medium. (fixing things is something people would like. Consensus on that list is hard to judge.)
