Ah, shit, how could I ever forget... Fantomas 3 (from the de Funes series)!
A bit comparable to Back to the Future, as they also did a kinda "less adventurous" story in an "antiquated" setting - while paying homage to another genre, whatever the one with ghosts in old castles is called - but all three movies were pretty fucking awesome.
