butthurt

How would you feel about using the word "ass injured" instead of "butthurt" from now on?

Every time you use "butthurt" the accent for you in my head turns to a backwoods hillbilly accent or that of a squeaky shrill voiced 10 year old, and both of those really annoy me.

I think you'll find using cooler words gets you further in life too. Just sayin': might be a part of your vocabulary that you'd be better off leaving in middle school.

Well I don't care about your fantasies, but, if Ah hayed to trahst mah goots, I'd say that "ass injured" is more like something a redneck would say.

At any rate, congratulations on revealing yourself as a complete n00b - I thought you were joking before with that whole "containing it in quotation marks" thing!

Butthurt is a very common, and very cool, classic INTERNETS meme.

I'm glad you've caught the "uncool 10th grader" aspect of it all, but you're missing out on the intentional irony.
It's SUPPOSED to mimick some small kid (or rather, an adult behaving like one) with an expression like this:

Offended, and demonstratively upset over something rather trivial, or maybe even humorous.

It's SUPPOSED to sound childish, kinda "cute" and innocent. (Innocent as in, completely unable to tell what a joke is.)
Ass injured sounds violent, and it also implies actual injury, not falling on the floor and starting to cry.

So learn your memes, and back off with this stupid nonsense, PLEASE.
