Well I did say "thanks for pointing out the obvious", which, and I hope I'm not sounding like a major dick by saying that, is a rather enormous feat by the last three days' standards.
Frink was obviously so taken in by the madness, he didn't realize just how incredibly stupid it was to take a perfectly legitimate post and quote it as "blah blah blah" because of some stupid shit in another thread.
And then go create a vote about "who's the problem".
A bit of common sense is really like a breath of fresh air in dark hours like this, so yea, thanks, whatever. Mad props to Frink for "agreeing" after called on it a second time, only by someone else - awesome achievement there.

I've said this before, but yea, if you think that a bunch of out-of-context quotes, of which at least 2 were jokes, and at least another half was semi-humorous, passes for an "answer", then, oh well.
There again you're tapping in "unintentional irony" land - after a lengthy post to you, where I described when it could be justified to consider yourself "right" in a discussion (even of opinions), all you can offer is a collection of stripped down quotes of mine... where I tell people they're wrong.

As if your post hadn't enough levels of unintentional irony already, here's another one - in my lengthy response above, I was talking about how a user not reading, or completely going over their opponents' comments, while still continuing to reply / argue / insist on their own position, was in clear disadvantage, and basically, for all intents and purposes, "wrong" as long as they didn't back up.
And how, correspondingly, the user on the other side would have all the reason to consider themselves in the right, as, you know... the other one doesn't even know what he was talking about!
And well, there you are, after obviously completely skipping my response, continuing to argue, insist that you're right, and complaining about what a dick I am.
And not just right about anything... but me being wrong about... calling other users wrong... for not reading my god damn comments.
This is... so... fucking... good.
