I spent all day watching episodes of Are You Afraid of the Dark? on YouTube. I loved that show as a kid, and I still love it now.

Yes, you can watch the original effects or the new effects. The editing is always the same because they specifically wanted to avoid the "Special Edition problem". Aside from enhanced mattes and new space scenes, there are a handful of phaser effect changes and a couple Gorn blinks. No other effort was made to fix mistakes or visible zippers or obvious stunt men...Gaffer Tape said:
The Blu-ray uses alternate angles to branch both versions. As far as I know (but I've never actually seen it, as I have no Blu-ray player), that means ALL the changes will reverted if you choose to watch it that way.

Oooh, I love, love, love The Adventures of Pete and Pete. That was one of my favorite shows growing up.
There is no lingerie in space…
C3PX said: Gaffer is like that hot girl in high school that you think you have a chance with even though she is way out of your league because she is sweet and not a stuck up bitch who pretends you don’t exist… then one day you spot her making out with some skinny twerp, only on second glance you realize it is the goth girl who always sits in the back of class; at that moment it dawns on you why she is never seen hanging off the arm of any of the jocks… and you realize, damn, she really is unobtainable after all. Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.
I've been re-watching all of my DVDs of the Muppet Show. I haven't seen the show since I was eight. Still as funny as ever.

Oh my god, how do you even remember that far back? :p
I can't. Other people have to remind who I am sometimes because, you know, I'm so old.
;-)
We just cancelled our satellite and switched to just HuluPlus and Netflix Streaming. That should be interesting.
This also lets me watch stuff while Mrs O'Five is playing on the Xbox, so last night I watched some Doctor Who on my iPhone while she played. That's very nice.

Sherlock: Season One - 10/10
Since they're like poetry, what with the rhyming and all, I find that I only need to watch three out of the six films.
'The Benson Interruption' Too many comics and too little show. But pretty funny.
6.5 balls out of 10
Just watched the pilot of Alphas. Might be the best live-action super powers TV I've seen since season one of Heroes. The rest of Heroes sucked, No Ordinary Family sucked, The Cape sucked, Smallville sucked. Misfits is pretty good.
The plot wasn't brilliant but I liked how they just started the show without long character introductions and everyone discovering their powers. The cast seems pretty good - I've always liked David Strathairn and the tech guy is hilarious. Some well written episodes and arcs might make it a show worthy of not being cancelled.
Remember how much I said I fucking loved Adventure Time? I wasn't kidding:
^ For some reason that makes me want to see Adventure Time a lot more than your original recommendation...
Just watched the latest episode of Futurama - LMAO at "Burgle-arson-arceny".
I don't care what anyone says, I've loved the new season of Futurama. I finally get why The Simpsons started to suck. It's because they took all the good writers to go work on Futurama.

That's the idea. A ha ha

WRONG PICTURE!
NO, WONG!
WONG PICTURE!
Am starting my run of Batman Beyond
So disappointed that I wasn't able to watch it when I was a kid. (It usually aired when I had to leave to walk to school.)
It's made of so much awesome.

Watched the live-action Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventures. A fair bit better than I was expecting. Just started the animated one, which has George Carlin, Alex Winters and Keanu Reeves' voices but isn't as good so far. One of the animated episodes is titled: This Babe Ruth "Babe" is a Dude, Dude!

Arguably BSG didn't sink to supernatural depths (as we have no idea what the God thing that doesn't like to be called God is).
That take on 'the supernatural' was in the pilot and in the progenitor series too.
Actually 2ndBSG got more supernatural because, Michael Jackson thought the "God" line was good. Ron Moore just thought it was just a neat line for a robot to say.
Twist, come on. I think Bingo would know better than this Ron Moore character (whoever the hell he is).
There is the author's intension and a reader's interpretation and as we know from 'Lucas Watching' both are movable feasts with no set menu but if you go back to the original inspiration (the Classic series) and the NuGalactica pilot (mission statement of the new interpretation) the God thing is there right from the beginning.
So where is the surprise?

THIS! I always make this argument. And "Head Six" said (or at least implied) from very early on that she herself was an angel, so why all the complaining at the end?
Wife and I watched "The Guild" on Netflix this weekend. Wow, so stinking funny. I really don't think one has to have a knowledge of World of Warcraft in order to appreciate most of the humor. It's well acted, well written, all around entertaining.
And apparently we caught up just in time for the new season! Its interesting, its a web series, 5 minute long episodes released on Xbox Live and MSN Video. Which means I can continue to watch it on my TV!

Still enjoying The Fringe and it's bizarre Welsh cousin Torchwood : Miracle Day had a watchable but very, very silly opening which could lead to some giggles.
