That take on 'the supernatural' was in the pilot and in the progenitor series too.

Actually 2ndBSG got more supernatural because, Michael Jackson thought the "God" line was good. Ron Moore just thought it was just a neat line for a robot to say.

 

Twist, come on. I think Bingo would know better than this Ron Moore character (whoever the hell he is).

There is the author's intension and a reader's interpretation and as we know from 'Lucas Watching' both are movable feasts with no set menu but if you go back to the original inspiration (the Classic series) and the NuGalactica pilot (mission statement of the new interpretation) the God thing is there right from the beginning.

So where is the surprise?
