Since they're like poetry, what with the rhyming and all, I find that I only need to watch three out of the six films.
Who's gonna be the gullible user that goes to see Jack & Jill?
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

I thought South Park was kidding!
'Kansas City Confidential' Unexpectedly suspenseful. I haven't seen many yet but this may be my favorite Noir film.
8.5/10 balls
Insidious.
SW V3 with surround engaged for 70mm mix.
Awesome. 70mm balls.

It's a great feeling. Just think: 19 more to go! 22 if you count Casino Royale, Casino Royale and Never Say Never Again! ;)
I have to do my marathon about every two months. It's an obsession really.
Out of curiosity, where does it start to bog down for you?
Also a word of advice. Don't try it consecutively. It's painful.

Bog down?
Low point etc. Everyone's is different. I adore the whole original series, but especially as a film geek I know some have some major issues. (Octopussy, AVTAK, Licence To Kill, Tomorrow Never Dies, Die Another Day). Some argue the worst is Golden Gun, some say Moonraker, virtually every opinion will be a different film.
And I think I must be going mad because I now find strengths in the '67 version of Casino Royale.

In that case, anything from Octopussy to Die Another Day I didn't really care for.
'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2'
I'm going to preface this by saying that I'm 16. I grew up with these books and these films. That said, I didn't even think about most of the film. It was a purely emotional experience. And at the end, knowing that this is the end. No more books, no more films. I got a little misty eyed.

(I feel happy of myself for not making the obvious joke. Thumbs up for rock and roll.)
Transformers 3.
1 ball.
it kinda sucked.
I just watched 'Robocop' for the first time. I always made the assumption that it was cheesy solely based on the costume. But it was freakin awesome. The first 10 minutes and the last 20 worked the best for me. I don't like completely invincible characters. no suspense. But I was pleasantly surprised that I wasn't laughing at its ridiculousness the whole movie like I thought I would.
7/10 balls.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
What an incredible film! Like Part 1, it took everything about the book that was good and made it even better, and took everything that was not so good and either removed it or rearranged it so that it didn't suck anymore. And talk about an emotional experience. Sheesh . . .
Amazing, amazing. Snape's balls.

Heh, I've only seen the beginning and the end so far, but I can totally see that :)
Also thought it would be some dated B-movie with a robot in a silly costume saying cheesy one-liners, or something. But damn, that shit's intense!
Loaded Weapon - pretty hilarious :D
X-Files: I Want to Believe
I actually really enjoyed it. For some reason I didn't think much of it when I saw it just after it came out. I spent the last few years working my way through the entire TV series; towards the beginning of this year I made it up to the last couple of episodes of the series and decided to save them to enjoy for later, since I was feeling a bit X-Filed out at the time. I finally got around to finishing them recently, which made me feel like I should try to get my hands on a copy of I Want to Believe and watch it again for completions sake.
Last time I saw it I hadn't seen past season six of the TV series, so it was nice knowing more about the context of Mulder and Scully's situation this time through. I remember this movie taking a lot of flak back in 08, but it isn't really that bad. It was a pretty low stakes story, not all that action packed, and didn't have things exploding, so no wonder it got poor reviews. It is basically a feature length monster of the week episode of the show, which is what I liked most about it. I think it works a lot better on the TV screen than in the theater.
7 of 10 balls.
I now really wish that previously potential third X-Files movie about the alien invasion in 2012 was being made. Every now and then someone interviews Duchovny or Gillian or Carter and they mention how interested in making it they are, so I guess it is still a possibility, but I have a feeling after the year 2012 passes much of the mass appeal of a film about an alien invasion that is suppose to take place in December of 2012 will be lost. If it were ever going to get made, I would have expect it to be in production right now. :(
Rango - 10/10
Great flick! Superb animation, could not get over how real it looked, it was stunning, better detail than any Pixar I've seen. Loved to Eastwood tribute as well as the many, many, allusions to Eastwood films! (yes, I'm an Eastwood fan!)
