He's definitely baiting the board, or he wouldn't keep coming back with his usual MO - bait\complain\apologize\bait\complain\apologize. However, I'm not yet convinced he's a full-on troll (someone playing a part for their own entertainment). If he is, he's gone to a lot of trouble to create a back story. I've seen some of his posts in the comments section of a few New York Times articles.
