Can I suggest editing the two Jar Jar slapstick scenes together? Being broken up so quickly, the musical parody gets a bit shortchanged before it gets going. It might also make the high amount of musical parodys in the final reel seem less clustered together.
Good stuff nonetheless.

I considered that originally. My concern is that we then spend too much time away from it. However, I'll take another look at it.

It would be interesting to see if they did focus groups before the movie came out and see how the Jar Jar scenes did, especially if the groups weren't comprised of LFL employees. ('one kid seems to love Speedo Man!')

I'm okay with other people contributing clips - greenpenguino has contributed three pieces, and I think Bob Garcia will be giving me one...
I agree it would look better if it filled the viewfinder, and it's how I originally envisioned it.
The way I see it, the big problem is that the Rickroll is 4:3 footage (videos weren't shot widescreen back then). What you see in that clip is basically the limit of the shot, so how could you get it to fill the viewscreen without obviously stretching it?
