I think some of the stores nearby are still stocking the collector's edition of Bioshock 2 so I might look into trading in Duke nukem forever and getting a copy of that, hopefully tomorrow.
I am not sure if the collector's edition is the same in Oz, but the American collector's edition is only cool if you are in it for the original Bioshock soundtrack on vinyl (which is pretty fantastic, listen to it all the time). Other goodies are the art book, which is cool if you are into art books (to me it is a one time thumb through curiosity that just kind of takes up space), the BS2 soundtrack on CD (never opened mine) and the massively bulky LP sized box it all comes in (which really isn't that pretty). All in all, if you aren't in it for the vinyl and the art book, it isn't worth the extra money. Right now a used copy of BS2 in the states costs less than a used copy of BS1, I think it was $8.99 at gamestop last time I looked, but I know things run quite differently there (any chance you could buy it offline from the states, seems like I heard our discs and yours are the same region? But I could be very wrong on that).
Anyway, yeah, BS2 would be an extremely worthy time killer while waiting for the fall releases.
@Xhonzi, you better be playing/planning on playing Fallout 3.
