Do you think there will be a Trilogy day for Star Wars ( or a Double Trilogy Day )

I am wondering Peter Jackson has a Trilogy Tuesday for Lord of the Rings " I was so much fun " Will something like this be done for Star Wars. We had all these Die hard Fans from out of town and even state for Lord of the Rings, books and movie fans and just those you where into the movies and people dressed up ect. I think that would really be neat for Star Wars. Eiter with 1,2,3, or with all 6 of them in one day.

Star Wars movies are shorter then Lord of the Rings, plus the first 2 Lord of the Rings where the Special edition so the time you add up all the time for the Lord of the Rings movies that day, it would take up close to 5 Star Wars Episodes. You would need to fit in one more Episode and 3 more intermissions. I think it could be done, but not sure if it will be. I would be happy with just a Single Trilogy day before Episode 3 is released to the General Public, but 6 in one day would be awesome.

Curious if others here would think this a good idea. Also if anyone here thinks something like this will happen. I am sure 4,5,6 would not be the 1977-83 version , nor even the 1997 ones but the 2004 Dvd's , but hey it would still be cool. If they started the first film at noon ( 12:00 P.M. ) and had a 20 min intermission it probley would not get over till like 3 in the morning or so, maybe longer depending on how long episode 3 is. But I am sure die hard fans would go. We get out from Lord of the Rings Trilogy day at like 2 in the morning so whats an extra hour or so. Plus they could always start before 12:00 P.M. > I am sure it would sell out quick just like Lord of the Rings did. Anyways I hope something like this happens that would be so Awesome

i dunno... i see why LOTR would do it since it's actually one continuous story, but that is different for Star Wars. i don't think i could do it, gosh, spending that much time watching movies...a couple of months ago i watched 4 movies in a row at a theatre and at the end i was really exhausted and glad that it was over, although i really enjoyed it.
and also, the thought that i have to sit through the prequels to get to the originals in the 2004 edition... no, don't count me in.

Yeah, I would have to agree with that. It can be hard enough just sitting through two movies and I've done that only a few times.

Wow four movies in a row... Hmnn sounds like a chalenge to me...

Ok, I'll take that challenge, and break a world record: I'll watch all the Bond movies non-stop at a theater (that would take about... 36 hours maybe, one and a half days), with the Guiness Book people checking on me. By the end of it I'll probably be horribly insane and/or extremly sick, like in the Ludovico treatment in "Clockwork Orange"...

Yep, it was quite something. Moreover it was at night. It was a special event that started at 10 p.m. and finished at 7 a.m. ish (there was a 30 break between each movie). was really a cool experience, but I wouldn't do it more than once a year.

If you're still able to write after your Bond marathon, tell us how it went!
