The reason the Blu shots look superior to the v3 dvd is because of the superior resizing up to HD resolution.

I must disagree. When you look at it here in the forum, it's the original size of the GOUT DVD and yet the pic from Project Blu still looks much better than the one from V3, so I don't think resizing has much to do with it.

LOL, yes they are hard coded just like the V3, they are spaced, timed and sized to be Theatrical also like the V3, the only sub free file is my master file.

OK, here is a small update, just got an email, and it said, Jedi menu is DONE, he is burning a test disc on his end to look for errors, I should have it very shortly after, unless he finds something ofcourse, and then I will test it again on my end with the real files, so now I can finally see an end, then retire from this shit.

Thanks to all of you that donated blanks, your Sets should be on their way soon, and to those that are interested in this project and help keep the thread alive, take care and May The Force Be With You!

Awesome news!  This is going to be an incredible set and the one I'll show my nephew when he's old enough for Star Wars.  I can't thank you enough for undertaking this project and providing the version of the Trilogy that I'll watch for years to come!

Thirdeded, or something similar ;)

I always wanted to introduce my girlfriend to the OT (and PT if really, really necessary), so I'll definitely use this set to do just that :)

Sorry if this was already answered, but will the BDs be available for download too?

To be absolutely honest with you, I have no idea how I am going to do that yet, my only concern at the moment is just finishing this OT BD Set up and getting advanced copies to the donaters\testers, and most of all, the man that is doing my BD menu's, but I will figure something out at some point.

I agree with what the others have said, thanks very much for making this set, dark_jedi, it's literally the best looking (and sounding (thanks hairy_hen! :) ) original unaltered Star Wars trilogy set ever on home video! :)

The Star Wars trilogy. There can be only one.

Here are the barcode covers:

Please don't ask me for links to the full res versions, DJ wishes to distribute them only with the set and I fully respect that.

Those look very, very nice Harmy! and can't wait to see the menu covers, I should have a screenshot for you very soon, he is getting it soon, and you captured EXACTLY what I was looking for, Thank you.

Thank you also for respecting my wishes on the distribution of these covers for this set, I really appreciate that very much, you have turned out to be 1 Hell of a partner and Friend.

Now and update on things, I do indeed have the Jedi menu now, and it looks great, we saw no errors, so now I am watching each film from start to finish, I switch audio every now and then just to make sure for in sync and to test the pop up LOL, but I am primarily staying with the DTS-HD MA 5.1, I really don't think I will ever listen to the other tracks, but it is nice to have them there just in case, I really LOVE the DTS-HD track, to me it sounds perfect, the DD 5.1 track just sounds amplified for some reason, and before anyone asks, it has not been touched, it is h_h's purist track that is also on the V3 DVD's, the DTS-HD track sounds better balanced to me, sorry if that is not the correct term, I never claimed to be an audiophile LOL.

I am almost finished with Star Wars, and so far I LOVE IT!
