RIP Peter Falk. :(

With the 4th of July coming up, it will be time once again to watch people try to capture the magic of fireworks on their cameras. It's especially bad when they use their phone cameras.

My theory is that they started doing this years ago and haven't seen fireworks with their naked eyes for some time. When they see the video or the pics, they think they look pretty good.

Unfortunately I experienced something similar when I had to record my daughter's dance recital the other day. Since I had to watch it through the camera, I missed out on enjoying the live performance.

But I can watch the camera version any time I'd like. :(
