Lately I've been seeing lots of Alec Guinness movies
"The Ladykillers", 1955, ok this one I've seen it a bunch of times already, but for the first time in english. A classic, 6 out of 6 balls.
"The Lavender Hill Mob", 1951, what a film, thrills, laughter, great camera work, definitely recommended, 8 out of 8 balls.
"The Man In The White Suit", 1951, this one I liked, but there was something quite... I don't know I might've had something to do with the pacing, or maybe I need another viewing, but I'll give it 6 out of 7 balls.
"Great Expectations", 1946, now this one was way better than I expected, even if Guinness had no more than a few scenes in it, and now the South Park episode "Pip" is even funnier because I found out that in places it quotes the movie almost verbatim. 10 out of 10 balls.
Of these four movies, I really wanna see again "The Lavender Hill Mob".
