Back in the 90s, my mom and I used to catch this cop show called "The Commish". Michael Chiklis before he was all hard. I couldn't remember what made the show so charming to us, but I do recall being charmed.

I was at target and they had Seasons 1&2 for $14.99, so I snagged them for my mom for Christmas. My dad sort of refuses to watch anything in SD any more (and the PQ on these DVDs is rubbish), but they turned these on after the new year and ended up having to buy the rest of the seasons.

So the Mrs. and I have been watching some of them casually too. It really was a great show. Pretty lighthearted family stuff mixed with some of the most depressing examples of human behaviour... it is an odd mix. But it works.

It was made in the early 90s, but the cars make me think it was made in the early 80s. I guess my memory of cars in the 90s is broken.
