I am SOOO glad you mentioned The Iron Giant, that is one of the best animated movies ever and it was REAL animation.


Well, technically it was a combination of traditional and CG animation (the Giant was CG), but that was pretty commonplace by that point as every Disney movie including and after The Great Mouse Detective did that too. But anyway, yes, Iron Giant rules.
