Segue attempt number two: Now that this thread has produced the funniest thing I've read all day, it's time for me to dampen the mood.

The good news: I successfully taught myself to change a tire today, completely on my own! The bad news: I was in a position today where I was forced to teach myself how to change a tire, completely on my own. At noon.

And it gets better. Interestingly enough, I discovered this tire problem when I got in my car to drive to a service station because my car's been acting up lately. Could that be considered an irony? But, anyway, when I finally made myself mobile again and got to the service station, it turns out my car needs $600 worth of work. Since I didn't have that kind of money in my checking account, I had to put it off until I can get some money out of my savings. Did I mention they only accept cash?

Well, at least Victoria's Secret is working me to the bone. I've amassed nearly 40 hours a week in both the past two weeks, and with the Semi Annual Sale starting up this coming Tuesday, that's not changing for next week either. I have to be at work until 2:00 in the morning the night before the sale starts in order to set things up. But maybe with all of this work, I might manage to break even... =/

Would you believe the sense of accomplishment I felt at changing my tire was the high point of my day?
