Box office is not everything transformers 2 is one of the highest grossers. As for X-3 it followed in the wake of both the excellent x-men and then x-men 2 by Bryan Singer.

X-3 while a crappy or mediocre film still was better than the even worse prequel wolverine origins, i have not even bothered to see the other prequel.

Havok instead of Cyclops, and they are not related wtf?

Also this prequel lacks the gravitas of the other films because no Ian Mckellen and no Patrick Stewart.

I really dislike they are calling it first class and it has nothing to do with the Jack Kirby inspired comic.

It is possible that a Bryan Singer X-3 could have been worse he wanted to cast Sigourney weaver as Emma Frost,lol. Or it could have been great i mean look at what happened to spider-man 3 when the first films were so good. The studio wanted to sell actions figures so they forced Venom into the storyline.

Also look at Superman Returns and compare that against X-3. We got both a crappy Superman and X-men instead of a good x film.
