This is the second job in a row I've worked at that has had them or switched to them. They basically open you a checking account, give you a kinda-sorta-debit/credit card, and deposit all of your money into it. There are a bunch of silly rules to use it, and they give you a few checks that you have to call to activate so you can cash money for yourself. There are fees if you use it a certain way. Fuck that. I already have a checking account, and since all of my bills are set to automatically be withdrawn from that, I'd rather have my money go into THAT account. The only people I could possibly see benefitting from such a system are young teenagers who don't have bank accounts and need a way to easily keep track of their earnings. Otherwise, it's not only pointless, it's needlessly complicated. I refuse to work with it.
