I assumed that was Tom Baker's voice. Having never seen the older Who series, to my ears it sounded like a really atrocious old sound clip thrown in. I appreciate what they were trying to do, and that it was a bit of wanking intended to pleasure old fans, but it still sounded horrible.

Didn't enjoy the episode as a whole that much, but the ending makes me hopeful for more exciting things to come.
