Many thanks to Ming for making the galleries public and especially for he and his group going to so much trouble to help out the cause.

My thoughts are added to all of the others in hoping for the miracle your dad needs Ady. I am deeply saddened to hear about your daughter too.

All I can say for encouragement is that life is a roller coaster sometimes. The dips are difficult to get through sometimes, the peaks can be great fun, and thankfully there are only so many loops possible.

Relax doubleofive. I'm not trying to call anyone out on their ignorance on the EU. I just got a sudden nostalgic brain wave back in from the good old N64 days of me playing Star Wars: Rogue Squadron. That game featured a female Tie-Interceptor pilot who defected to the Alliance and even joined the ranks of Luke's very own Rogue Squadron. The same Squadron that was in The Empire Strikes Back. Now I understand that this was just sheer coincidence, but if anyone ever asked me who that pilot was, Kasan Moor fits would be it.

I also like how we finally get a female rebel pilot into the mix since the original Star Wars movies never showed any female soldiers or pilots on either side. The female presence in the Alliance was limited to just technicians or behind the scenes leaders. I can't wait to spot her.

Although I have never met you, although I have never spoken to you, although I don't know what you look like or sound like, and although I may never get the chance to change any of these things, it remains a remarkable fact that I cannot help regarding you as a friend!  You have already given me a priceless gift in the form of Star Wars Revisited, and you seem stubbornly determined to shower further gifts upon us all in the future, despite enormous inconvenience to yourself.

Thank you!  Thank you from the bottom of my Star Wars-loving heart!  I routinely sing your praises to anyone remotely interested in Star Wars (and many that aren't, but happen to be too polite to tell me to shut up), and I genuinely marvel at your continuing accomplishments on these truly amazing projects.  Where you find your staying-power to complete them simply baffles me!

Your generosity, good grace, intelligence, wit, dedication, and sheer talent shines through everything that you've chosen to share with us.  You, sir, truly astound me!  If life gave us what we actually deserve, then you would not be experiencing any of your current woes.  You deserve better, but even if life doesn't deliver it to you, please believe me when I sincerely say that your countless fans on this forum and around the world think you are amazing, and offer our moral support to you always.

adywan, my heart goes out to you and your family, especially your daughter.  My wife and I had a stillborn baby several years ago and it has taken us a very long time to recover...actually I should say we will always be recovering, but as vbangle said, time does help.  And our two subsequent daughters have really helped as well.

Feel free to PM me if you have any desire to converse with someone who has an idea of what you and your daughter are going through.

Ady, a bit late on this, but I'm so deeply sorry for everything that has been going on as of late.... Praying for you, and your family.

I tried to take this to PM but I can't since you are ignoring me.  I think getting someone's name wrong is rude, and since you did it twice, I don't see that it was a typo.

Having said that, I was sincere in that the rest of your post was well written.

I lurk around here keeping up to date on the incredible work you are doing so I never really post anything, but I thought I should at least attempt to say that like everyone else here, my thoughts are with you in these tough times.
