Too true. My thread is seemingly dead, but you know it's not that big of a deal. At the end of the day I'm doing this because I enjoy it. I know there are far more people reading than posting in my thread and it doesn't bother me. I'm sure the number will jump up when I release my edit.
Ultimatums are childish. Edit because you enjoy it, not because you need your accolade.
But with all sincerity I wish you the best of luck with your edit.

Just a free bit of advice which I shall offer to you for $9.99 (P&P not included).
Don't assume a lack of response is a lack of interest.
People may not be responding to you because they agree with what you have posted or because you haven't posted enough for them to feel that by posting they are contributing anything to what you are trying to do.
Not everyone who may be interested in what you are doing uses Facespace.
Don't mess with Moth3r and Jay.
They are kind enough to allow you a space to display what you are trying to do and get feedback.
And it's really not nice give people who have followed your project the bird like this.
Adywan with all the crap he has had thrown at him from the interwebs has carried on listening to suggestions and when he has seen an idea that has chimed with what he is trying to do has implemented those ideas.
Seeing as you are planning to use his edit as a back bone for your own take a leaf out of his book.

Maybe I've just trained my google to know better, but a quick search of "Star Wars fan edits" leads to fanedit.org, here, and other discussion boards on Adywan's work. How will moving to facebook get his project more attention?

It get's different attention.
Ady's spread across many places, Youtube, FE.org, Facespace, here and Doubleofive's page etc and they all interconnect.
I'm sure he will get a few new followers over there but burning bridges here (especially as many of us here are also members of the other groups I mentioned) makes no sense at all.

Moving your project solely to facebook and deleting all your posts here is probably the worse thing you have done, especially when it seems like your motivation is to receive attention, especially with a quote like this:

Just because you don't get a lot of replies in here doesn't mean there is no interest in your project. Maybe you should have looked at the amount of views your page gets and not reply solely on how many replies you get. Since March, when you started this page, you have received over 3200 views, which is pretty good going for a few months. There are many lurkers here who follow many edits but hardly ever post anything in a thread. This doesn't mean that you are getting no interest in your project, but more that they feel they have nothing to say or contribute towards the edit.
Maybe you should have also been clearer on what people should search for in Facebook to find you. After a few tries i managed to find your page.
So it now seems you want to only share this with the elite few who "like" your page? Members only benefits? This is NOT the way to go if you want your edit to receive the attention you seem to crave. It will only serve to alienate people.
You would have been better off keeping everything you posted here intact and just used facebook to branch out to a different audience. There are many here that do not use facebook that could have been given you some very helpful feedback and advice. There was a member here called Anti-Matter who pretty much did the same thing because he wanted to move everything to his own self promoting website. Fan editing should never be done for glory. It should always be a personal thing and if it receives attention then that should always be just an added bonus, and never the thing that drives you.

I don't find it funny just annoying and sad.
He has some good ideas and if he promoted them properly they could have got even more interest here than they did.
If he had after second thoughts apologised and carried on maybe Moth3r would have let him off with a warning and this thread could continue to be of use to him and provided us all with another interesting ANH variant.

For the record, he hasn't been banned or even warned as far as I can see. Oh, and he was online last night....so he's still reading the thread I'm sure.
