So I spent about 20 combined hours this weekend doing nothing but sensoring and sorting bras, and then I went to go see Bridesmaids yesterday with my old roommate.  I think I'd probably have to wrestle a bear inside a volcano to ever feel manly again. =P

Not to mention 87% of OT dot com still believe/want to believe that you are a woman.

My favorite musical is "Jekyll and Hyde" which is not widely considered the best nor best known musical.

My favorite rockband is the midly obscure "Savatage."

Not normally the sort of interests I ever expected to cross.

This weekend I learned that not only did Broadway's star of "Jekyll and Hyde" Rob Evans become the touring singer for Savatage's spin-off band "Tran Siberian Orchestra," but also Savatage guitarist Alex Skolnik performed on a 2006 re-recording of the "Jekyll and Hyde" soundtrack.

Odd coincidence. Just ordered the album on Amazon.

I saw the Beasties on their Hello Nasty tour.  That's a big endorsement because I almost never go to concerts.

...

And I can still remember "rocking" out with my buddies to License to Ill.

There are many thrilling tales about the sea; and other, less thrilling ones only marginally connected with it.

Sorry, this isn't a very good announcement . . .

I thought you were joking when you said you were 65...

I was thinking the same thing recently...

anyway:

Adam Rainer (1899–1950) is the only person in recorded history ever to have been both a dwarf and a giant.

Rainer was born in Graz, Austria.   In 1920 at age 21, his height was 3 feet 10.5 inches.  Then, likely as a result of a pituitary tumor, he had a dramatic growth spurt so that by 1931 he had reached a height of 2.18 m (7 ft 1 in). As a result of his extreme growth, he became bedridden for the rest of his life.

When he died in 1950 he had reached a height of 2.34 m (7 ft 8 in).  His feet measured 13.1 inches, and his hands 9.4 inches.  He weighed only 241 pounds.  As of today, he is the only person in the world who was classified as a dwarf and a giant.
