Moved back in with parents several months ago, due to finding a wife that was more on the dark side than what i am currently (thats impossible...i know, yet true).

Today i carried out a little experiment.

Mom and Dad have little exposure to Star Wars since the gulf of renting out TESB every time we went to the rental store on VHS (he had bought into BETAMAX at that time, so we had both). 23 rentals of the same movie i think and my dad was p*ss*d off enough with R2-D2's bleeping and chiping, that he wouldn't let me see ROTJ. So i could only read the book (hey, ROTJ still looks fantastic as result in my mind). All about er what, 25 years ago.

Anyways, I've just redecorated my 'batchalor pad' old bedroom, the way i want it....geeky maybe, with the B-wing/X-wing/Tie Fighter/Snowspeeder/Falcon/Rebel transporter/Tie-Advanced/Urm, A-Wing/Tie Bommer/Tie-Inceptor/and yum, Tyderium ships, and figures.

I've just asked my dad if he remembers any of this stuff after not speaking about it after all this time.

He remembered when i showed him the figures to my surprise, Z3P0 was C3PO, R2-D2, and Darth Vader were spot on, and the Millenium Falcon was a snow-speeder to him (nieve) which he had bought for my younger bro for xmas in the past.

Dont know why, but i like to think i plummeled enough Star Wars ship into them for them to remeber ship, and remember, they are forgetting almost everything that happens day by day by now (i have to remind them im their son, Darth Solo, all the time now)!

Meanings, will i know anything about baybladez, or power figgin rangers if my sperms ask me in about 25 years time.....
