I agree.  That's why I'm getting it on Blu Ray!

read my posts carefully, I never said the other movies didn't exist to me.

Read Anchorheads posts carefully.  You said you agreed with him completely.

In what way did you for once completely agree with Anchorhead?  That he only avowed the existance of the 1968 original or that you do?

For the record;  I don't dislike the Apes sequels to the point of completely ignoring their existence.  I just don't own them.  I'll watch them if they come on cable.

As long as he's seen Inception.

I have not, sir.

oh very well, I do not agree with Anchorhead completely then.   But I do agree with him that the first is the best.

Geez, if xhonzi keeps this up, his version of the forum will only contain him.

I have no idea.  But I did just see an episode of Star Trek:  Deep Space Nine that everyone said Inception's plot ripped off.

Hmm...to be honest, I'm a little skeptical about their ability to portray Catwoman in a manner commensurate with the gritty, realistic feel of the series thus far. But Nolan hasn't let me down yet. Here's to hopin'...

Also I, erm, haven't seen Inception either. (Reason 1: I'm a busy man. Reason 2: It has Leonardo DiCaprio in it. 'Nuff said?)

Dude, Leonardo DiCaprio is one of my favorite actors working today!  He's been consistently good in everything he's done in about the past decade.  For proof, see:

  • Catch Me if You Can
  • Gangs of New York
  • The Aviator
  • Blood Diamond (though I'm not a giant fan of the movie itself)
  • The Departed
  • Revolutionary Road
  • Shutter Island
  • And, of course ... Inception

So, any alternate ideas for a title to "Dark Knight Rises."

I think the logical and perfect one is obviously "The Caped Crusader."

Boo-Yeah!

re: conquest extended, that's pretty interesting - it's a shame the blood liike like red paint.

I wasn't really in an 'Apes'  mood but after reading this thread I feel like watching them all again - except the last one of course, that's almost as bad as the Tim Burton remake.

Well done.   Much better than The Dark Knight Rises.

I think I'm going to make a custom cover when the Blu-ray comes out with "The Caped Crusader" as the name. I love it so much.

Oh you've been to the alternate universe too! Cool!

I thought Kenneth Branagh was an excellent Obi-wan...

And two good prequels? I dunno, I thought the other one was good too...

Leonardo De Caprio wasn't in the first prequel.
