I would easily believe the top pic is a photo of Peter Cushing himself. Pretty farkin good.

If only the awful cameo of Tarkin in ROTS had been as well done.

Though it would have been much better to have cast an actor who looked a bit like a younger Peter Cushing (with minimal make-up if absolutely necessary) and made him a proper character who did things.

That zombie mask they gave Wayne Pygram to wear for five seconds is an insult to Cushing's memory and Pygram's acting skills (still he did take the money).

Yes, it's very impressive.

Better than any CGI face model I've seen so far.

With proper lightning it is indeed incredible.

Hey, I saw this in person last month!  I was on vacation in L.A. & we went to a convention called Monsterpalooza one day.  This sculpt was one of the many many incredible things on display there!  It seriously looks real, even in person.
