I guess this is the difficulty of working with existing audio is that I'm not always clear on my intentions. The obi-wan stuff is just a running gag where qui-gon keeps jerking him around on the comlink.

I think I'm going to stick with the noooooooooooooo as it caps obi's building frustration at qui-gon. It may play better when in context.

I left in Shmi's last look at qui-gon as ambiguous...she may be disapproving of his actions regarding leaving her and his son behind on Tatooine, or disapproving of his treatment of obi, or any other number of things...
