Wow, for some reason, I became very excited while I was reading your post. I love the idea. If it was broken up into episodes, I think it would be easier to bring up key plot points with a simple 'Previously on the The Avengers...' or something like along those lines.

With that being said, enthusiasm and excitement only go so far. I think I might need some serious help in trying to decide what goes where, and the timeline might have to be fudged a little. I've never seen 24, so I can't comment on the style of how it is edited. I don't think I would be too crazy about a countdown, though. (Once Iron Man 3 and other sequels come along, what would you count to?)

I'm working on finishing up another project, and I should be finished in a couple of weeks. Hopefully I can start trying to dice these movies up and get an idea of where to go with this thing.
