Having virtually no memory of seeing the OT in theaters, I may try this.

I'll be darned! I was actually thinking about whether an old pair of sunglasses would do this just the other day. I like 3D, but in the unlikely event I really wanted to see a movie that was simply a bad 2D conversion, it might be an option. ;)
